"It was truly a blessing to have Christine there with us as our doula during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods. Though we were initially skeptical about whether we needed a doula for our child's birth, because of Christine's soothing presence, compassion, and support, we are now convinced that it is essential. In the months leading up to our son's birth, I felt some anxiety about the possible complications that might arise during a home birth. Christine met with us and patiently listened to our concerns, and she sent me encouraging and reassuring text messages that helped allay my fears.
